Jesus said I have come to give life and to give it more abundantly(John1010). Part of what Jesus came to do for man is the possibility to receive the life of Jesus. When you are born of God, you receive the very life of God through Jesus christ. This is why Jesus said no man can possibly get to the father except through him.
